Man, 31, denies rape in cathedral grounds

A man accused of attacking woman in the grounds of a cathedral has pleaded not guilty to strangulation and rape.
Christopher Filbrandt, 31, of Eign Mill Road in Hereford, was accused in relation to an attack on 12 July, near Hereford Cathedral.
He denied the charges at a hearing at Worcester Crown Court on Monday.
His trial is set for 12 January 2026.
