Views sought on police funding 'priorities'
Joy Allen said it was "critical" the police invested in areas that impacted people's safety

A county police chief is asking the public what it believes should be its funding priorities.
Joy Allen, the Durham force's Police and Crime Commissioner, has launched a survey to find out which issues, such as anti-social behaviour and drug abuse concern locals the most.
She said feedback will be used with existing research and crime figures to draw up the police and crime plan for 2025-29.
Anyone living in County Durham or Darlington is invited to complete the online survey.
Ms Allen said: "Every penny is precious, and it is critical that we invest in the areas that will have the biggest impact on people’s safety and feelings of safety.
“I would like to know where people feel we need to invest in solutions to make our communities more resistant to criminality and to restore confidence and trust in our services.
"Please take a moment to share your views."
