Body believed to be missing hillwalker found after 20 months

A body believed to be missing hillwalker Ross Kinghorn has been found nearly 20 months after he went missing near Blair Atholl in Perthshire.
Police said the body was discovered in the Glenfernate area of Blairgowrie at about 16:50 on Tuesday.
Formal identification is yet to take place but Mr Kinghorn's family has been informed.
The 57-year-old had travelled by train from Linlithgow in January 2023 with the intention of heading to the Bridge of Tilt area.
He was last seen in Blair Atholl and is believed to have set out for the nerby Beinn a' Ghlò hills.
Searches of the area found later found some of his personal items near Bridge of Tilt.
