What impact did the 2008 financial crash have on your life?
Life was never the same for millions of people after the collapse of Lehman Brothers investment bank in September 2008. Were you one of the many affected by the crisis?
The global financial crisis had been precipitated in 2007 with a subprime mortgage crisis in the United States and developed into a full-blown global crash after Lehman Brothers went under.
A cascade of events followed, including government bank bailouts to try prevent other financial institutions collapsing, but it still led to the worst recession since the 1930s.
