R&B singer Ne-Yo takes UK single chart top spot

R&B singer Ne-Yo has claimed his fifth UK number one single with with his latest song Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself).

The US star beat The Script's Hall of Fame, which features lead singer Danny O'Donoghue's fellow The Voice judge Will.i.am, and entered the chart at number two.

The third spot was also a new entry for Pink with Blow Me (One Last Kiss).

The album chart saw The Vaccines take the top spot with Come of Age.

The London-based band's second album follows on from their critically-acclaimed debut What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?

They beat Northern Ireland trio Two Door Cinema Club's Beacon. The band made an appearance at this weekend's Bestival event on the Isle of Wight.

Boyzone's Ronan Keating's solo album, Fires, entered the chart at four, while there was also a new entry at number six for Dire Straits' Mark Knopfler with Privateering.

Ne-Yo's previous UK number ones have included Beautiful Monster and Closer. He was also a featured artist and writer on last year's Pitbull track Give Me Everything.

Last week's number one single from Little Mix, Wings, slipped down to number four, followed by previous number one Sam and the Womp with Bom Bom at five.
