A 大象传媒 employee who posted antisemitic comments on social media has been sacked by the corporation.

Dawn Queva, a 大象传媒 Three senior scheduling coordinator, posted several antisemitic comments on Facebook.

The 大象传媒 were made aware of these posts last week, and on Sunday confirmed she was no longer an employee.

It said the corporation "does not tolerate anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, or any form of abuse, and we take any such allegations seriously".

It added that it takes "appropriate disciplinary action wherever necessary".

Ms Queva's posts on Facebook have since been deleted.

It is understood that some Jewish staff at the 大象传媒 were unhappy about the Queva situation.

"With regard to staff, their welfare is always paramount and we have well-established and robust processes in place to handle any issues, concerns or complaints raised with us, along with a range of support available to anyone who may need it," the 大象传媒 said.

Former 大象传媒 presenter Andrew Neil said on X that former colleagues had told him it was "grim" and "frightening" to be Jewish at the 大象传媒 at the moment.

He later added: "It's such an open and shut case I believe the 大象传媒 will do the right thing."
