Pink has been confirmed as the first headliner for next year's Wireless festival.

The American singer will top the bill at London's Hyde Park on Friday 2 July supported by The Ting Tings, who've spent much of 2009 recording their forthcoming second album in Berlin.

Tickets for the gig go on sale at 9am on Friday 11 December.

Returning for its sixth year, last year's Wireless festival was headlined by Kanye West and Basement Jaxx.
