First bands confirmed for Great Escape

Delphic, Chase N Status and Ellie Goulding are amongst the first artists confirmed for this year's Great Escape festival.

The annual three-day event takes place across various venues between 13-15 May in Brighton.

Broken Social Scene, Marina & The Diamonds, Hurts, Darwin Deez and Japandroids will also make the trip to the south coast.

Last year's festival saw performances from Kasabian, The Big Pink and Metronomy.

The event plays host to 350 bands across 30 venues throughout the city.
