Professor Green says he'd like to work with Emeli Sande again in the future.

The pair topped the UK singles chart last month with their collaboration Read All About It.

Speaking to Newsbeat, the rapper said: "There are definitely plans to work together more in the future.

"There's already stuff in the works. I wrote words for a new chorus which I sent over to her, so she could play around with the melody. It's a track called Something Like Me."

Earlier this year, Emeli Sande scored her first solo top five hit with her debut single Daddy.

She has also collaborated with Wiley, Tinie Tempah and Chipmunk.

Speaking to Newsbeat about working with Sande, Professor Green said: "I think what's so special about Emeli is she has it all. Very rarely do you find someone with a voice like that who can write like she does.

"Not only is she prolific in the amount of material she produces but she's also profound in what she says, so she's the entire package."

Emeli Sande is due to support Coldplay on their 2012 UK tour.

Professor Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, will join Sande on stage to perform Read All About It.

'Wicked Banter'

Professor Green is currently on tour with Rizzle Kicks.

"It's been a giggle. I was a bit apprehensive, they've got youth on their side. I'm eight years older than them," he said.

"It's been incredible having them on board, the banter's wicked, we have a laugh and we get on. We pretend we don't, we insult each other a lot but in a friendly way."

The tour wraps up with a date in Bristol on 14 December.

"I've been with my band for two years now, and I've got friends with me [on tour] as well. It's like one massive family, everyone's gelled really well."

The rapper is hoping for international success in 2012.

"My plans are to travel with the music. We've got a big Australian tour booked, and there's loads more international stuff coming in, so I just want to travel everywhere the music does. I enjoy doing that, it's like going back to square one.

"I've got a massive tour coming up in April, my biggest one yet, which is almost sold out. And I want to do more recording. I can't wait to get back in the studio I'm getting itchy feet already."
