An online magazine is claiming Tulisa Contostavlos sent in her lawyers to force them to pull down a link to a 'sex tape' they claim features the singer.

Bosses at Pappzd.com say they got the link to the tape elsewhere online after it had been trending on Twitter.

The video shows a young woman engaging in oral sex.

Tulisa's management have told Newsbeat: "Tulisa has asked us not to comment on speculation about her personal life."

Tulisa has denied being involved in a 'sex tape' in the past.

Nadia Kabahita, co-owner and editor of Pappzd magazine, said staff "were in shock" when the lawyers arrived.

"Her lawyers came to our offices and demanded to take it down due to privacy law.

"And we were given a deadline in which to take it down otherwise there would be further action."

Ms Kabahita said the magazine normally received about 4,000 views but got 50,000 hits after putting up the link.

"We had no choice but to take it down," she said.

Ms Kabahita said the site had no intention of reposting the link to the video.
