The band were supposed to be joining Blossoms on tour but all four members were killed in Sweden last weekend.

Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe and Jack Dakin and their manager Craig Tarry died when their car plunged off a bridge into a canal.

Blossoms say they want to use Viola Beach's support slot to showcase the band's music.

Blossoms - who were fourth on 大象传媒 Music's Sound of 2016 list - last saw the band just two days before they were killed.

"The last time we saw them was after the Leamington Spa show last Thursday. We said our goodbyes to them as they headed off to Sweden.

"We'll never forget them. Their tunes forever in our heads."

It's still not known why their car crashed on a bridge. It's been claimed there were safety barriers and warning lights in place.

Blossoms say they've spoken to all of Viola Beach's families and have decided they'll play a full recording of the Leamington Spa gig as a tribute.

They'll do this tonight and every night of the tour that Viola Beach were supposed to be with them.

The statement finishes by telling fans to come early to help celebrate the lives of Jack, Kris, River, Tom and Craig.
