- Published
People on Twitter have been suggesting candidates they would rather have as the UK's ambassador to the US than Nigel Farage.
It's after America's President-elect, Donald Trump, tweeted that he thinks UKIP's leader would do a "great job".
Downing Street, though, says it's irrelevant - because the role isn't up for grabs.
Nonetheless, Twitter users have been weighing in with alternative suggestions.
Here are a few of our favourites.
Lots of people have gone for recognisable faces from TV and film, starting with everyone's favourite Star Wars character.
Chrissi made a suggestion for hardcore Simpsons fans.
The official David Brent movie account got involved too.
This might hurt your brain a bit, but Caity tweeted that there's only one man "to get the job done".
There's also a nomination fans of the X Factor will enjoy.
Comedian David Schneider referenced an infamous 大象传媒 news blunder - the time business studies graduate Guy Goma was mistaken for a technology expert and interviewed live on TV.
And sticking with 大象传媒 news for a second.
Other people kept things closer to home, and put a good word in on behalf of their own pets.
Finally, there were those whose suggestions were a bit more abstract.
