A woman in America is accused of taping her son to a wall while she did housework
A woman in America is being accused of taping her son to a wall so she could get some housework done and .
Shayla Rudolph, 18, has been arrested on an abduction charge.
Her two-year-old son has been taken into custody by child services in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
Police say they on Wednesday about a Facebook Live stream showing a woman sticking her son to a wall and taping his mouth shut.
They said their review of a copy of the stream showed Shayla Rudolph using clear packing tape to restrain the boy for about 15 minutes.
The woman can be heard in the video telling her son he has "the best mummy in the whole wide world".
Her son can be heard trying to cry.
"Don't make me put more tape up there," she says. "Now sit still. You can see the TV from right there."
Shayla Rudolph can also be heard apparently explaining that what she's doing allows her to do her housework.
"You can't clean without them running around tearing up? Tape them to the wall," she says.
"You can't cook because they're running around? Tape them to the wall."
It's unclear what day the video stream was posted on Facebook.
Police say they started an investigation after being sent a link to the footage by local TV news station - WSXY Channel 6.
