In pictures: Turning the tables on 大象传媒 torchcam
大象传媒 torchcam has become an unlikely star in its own right since it started streaming pictures of the torchbearers around the world when the relay began at Land's End on 18 May. Here's a reverse shot of torchcam, surrounded by photographers who ride on the back of the media vehicle so they can train their lenses on the runners behind.
A torchbearer's view of the media vehicle and the all-seeing lenses focused on them.
Up close and personal, a living and breathing cameraman works alongside his electronic counterpart to capture the Olympic torch relay story unfolding behind them.
Here's how the pictures are controlled, via a desk installed in the back of the former horsebox which is now a full media vehicle.
People have been snapping their own pictures of the media operation, which will be with the torch relay convoy right up to 27 July, the day of the Olympic Games' opening ceremony in London.
