Strong winds and rain cause problems across North East
Bad weather has caused problems across the north east of England.
Fire crews had to cut two women free from their car after a tree fell on to it in Eaglescliffe on Teesside. Neither of the women was seriously hurt.
A number of roads were blocked by fallen trees, and on North Tyneside part of the A1058 was closed for a time after heavy rain caused flooding.
Fallen power lines have also left dozens of homes in Allendale, Northumberland, without electricity.
The Tees Flyover on the A19 was closed to all vehicles for a time overnight and remains shut to high-sided ones.
