Colney Heath: Village pub damaged in lorry crash

A road has been closed after a lorry crashed into a village pub.

The flat-bed lorry struck the Crooked Billet pub on High Street, Colney Heath, Hertfordshire, at about 04:00 GMT on Tuesday.

Hertfordshire Police attended alongside colleagues from Herts Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance Service.

Minor injuries have been reported and the road remains closed while recovery work is carried out.
