A £1m lottery winner who bought their ticket in west Berkshire has not claimed their prize in time.

The EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle prize from the National Lottery Christmas draw on 23 December was not redeemed within the 180-day deadline.

A National Lottery spokesman said the money had been passed to The National Lottery Good Causes fund.

"We tried very hard to find the ticket-holder and it's a real shame that they have missed out," he said.
