Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward

A man is in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after a crash involving a car and a motorbike.

Wiltshire Police have shut the A36 in Salisbury to traffic heading towards Stapleford from Wilton.

They said the incident happened at around 11:20 BST and have asked drivers to avoid the area while investigations take place.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage is asked to contact police

The man's next of kin have been informed, the force added.
