A pair of teenagers have admitted committing two knifepoint robberies, leaving one victim with cracked ribs.
The crimes took place in the Speedwell and Whitehall areas of east Bristol on 30 January.
A 17-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were arrested shortly afterwards.
Avon and Somerset Police officer Chris Cook said they were "terrifying incidents" that the force took "incredibly seriously".
The teenagers were both charged with two counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery.
The 17-year-old was also charged with possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis.
Both appeared before Bristol Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 1 February where they entered guilty pleas for all the offences and were bailed ahead of sentencing on 20 March.
PC Cook added: "We know our communities want us to tackle knife crime, and we continue to take robust action when knives are carried."
