Murder arrest after man dies in Cambridge 'disturbance'
A 22-year-old has been arrested after a man died and two others were seriously hurt in what police described as a "disturbance" in Cambridge.
Officers were called by a member of the public to Hanover Court, a block of flats in the city centre, at 06:25 GMT.
A man died at the scene. Two other men believed to have been involved in the same incident took themselves to hospital, police said.
A man from Cambridge is being held on suspicion of murder.
Police cordons are in place at Hanover Court, Ditton Walk and Addenbrooke's Hospital's accident and emergency.
Officers believe the Hanover Court incident could be connected to disturbances in Market Square at about 05:00 GMT, and at Ditton Walk.
Det Ch Insp George Barr said: "The circumstances surrounding this incident remain sketchy and investigations are under way to determine what has caused this man's death.
"We believe all three men may have been involved in an incident in the city centre late last night or early this morning and then there have been several connected incidents leading up to the disturbance in Hanover Court.
"I would urge anyone who has any information about this disturbance or any of the connected incidents to call police."
