Cornwall Council budget: Draft details reveal cuts
Details of where an extra 拢24m of cuts might be found next year have been published by Cornwall Council.
The council's draft budget document revealed Adult Care and Health could see budgets cut by almost 拢12m.
Bus services have been earmarked for a further 拢1m cut and there is a proposal that 拢400,000 can be saved by doubling the Newquay Airport development fee from 拢5 to 拢10.
Street cleaning, libraries and one-stop shop hours could also be reduced.
The savings options have been released following meetings of advisory committees in recent weeks.
A council spokesman said: "The cabinet is now publishing this first draft of the 2014/2015 budget, setting out the key areas where the 拢24m additional savings required could be made, to give local residents, businesses, partners and Council staff the opportunity to give their views."
