Wetheral drivers face weeks of roadworks disruption
- Published
Drivers in Cumbria have been warned to expect more than two weeks of disruption because of roadworks.
Cumberland Council said the B6263 in Wetheral will close each day from 08:00 to 17:00 GMT from 6 November to 24 November.
Contractors will carry out resurfacing work, reshape the road to improve drainage and replace ironwork.
The local authority said it would enhance the road's "durability and quality".
A spokesperson said it "apologises for any inconvenience".
