HMP Sudbury: Inmate who absconded from open prison found
A man serving an eight-year sentence for battery has been found after he absconded from an open prison.
Matthew West walked out of HMP Sudbury at 20:15 BST on Tuesday, Derbyshire Police said.
The force has said West, 39, who is serving his sentence in the Category D facility, is "no longer being sought by officers".
Derbyshire Police thanked the public for helping them with their appeal to find him.
