Bolsover: Van driver killed in crash with gritting lorry

A man has been killed in a crash involving a van and a gritting lorry in Derbyshire.
Derbyshire Police said it was called to a report of the crash in Rotherham Road, in Bolsover, at 15:30 GMT on Saturday.
The driver of the Peugeot Partner van, a man in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said an investigation was under way and appealed for witnesses or dashcam footage.
Derbyshire County Council has confirmed one of its gritting lorries was involved in the crash.
A council spokesperson said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the driver of the van involved in the accident on Saturday and we'd like to send them our condolences."
The spokesperson said it was not appropriate to comment further.
