A trial date has been set for a TV auctioneer accused of assault and coercive behaviour against his wife.

Charles Hanson was charged with several offences after officers were called to an address in Quarndon, Derbyshire, in June.

They include actual bodily harm, assault and engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour.

Mr Hanson denies all charges and will stand trial on 10 February 2025 at Derby Crown Court.

Mr Hanson, who has appeared on the 大象传媒's Bargain Hunt, Flog It! and Antiques Road Trip, appeared at the court on Wednesday and only spoke to plead not guilty to the charges.

The 45-year-old, of Ashbourne Road, Mackworth, Derby, was released on bail with conditions not to go to an address in Quarndon or to contact his wife Rebecca.
