Man charged after knifepoint robbery at Sainsbury's store

A man is due to appear in court after being charged in connection with an armed robbery at a shop in Derbyshire.
Officers were called to the Sainsbury's in High Street, Newhall, at about 21:15 GMT on Wednesday.
Derbyshire Police said a man threatened staff with a knife before leaving with a substantial amount of cash and cigarettes.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at a nearby property shortly after and has now been charged with three offences.
The man, of Oversetts Road, has been charged with robbery, criminal damage and possession of a knife in a public place.
He is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court on Friday.
