Church Gresley: GBH charge after alleged hit-and-run crash

A driver has been charged with multiple offences after a pedestrian suffered several broken bones in an alleged hit-and-run crash in Derbyshire.
Police said a man in his 40s was struck by a car in Colliery Row, Church Gresley, on 4 June.
A 53-year-old man was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and failing to stop after an accident.
He has been bailed and is due in court next month.
Derbyshire Police said he was also charged with committing an act or series of acts with the intent to pervert the course of justice.
