Ilkeston: Man in hospital after being stabbed in leg

A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the leg in Derbyshire.
Officers were called to Skeavingtons Lane, in Ilkeston, just after 11:00 GMT on Friday to reports a man had been assaulted.
A man in his 40s was found at the scene with a "serious stab wound to his leg", Derbyshire Police said.
The force said a "significant" police presence remained in the area, adding the man was in a stable condition in hospital.
Officers have asked anyone who could assist with their inquiries to get in touch.
