Police close A57 Snake Pass following 'serious collision'

Police have closed a major road in north Derbyshire following a "serious" collision.
Traffic officers, paramedics and firefighters are currently at the scene of the incident on the A57 Snake Pass, near Glossop.
Derbyshire Police said the road had been closed between Hurst Road, Glossop, and the junction with Ladybower Reservoir.
A spokesperson added it was a "serious collision".
"Please avoid the area and use alternative routes," they added.
