Police appeal after man is assaulted outside Heanor micropub

An investigation is under way after a man was assaulted outside a micropub in Derbyshire.
The incident happened outside The Angry Bee on Godfrey Street, in Heanor, at about 01:30 BST on Sunday, police said.
A force spokeswoman said: "It is believed the man was punched and fell to the floor, hitting his head and was taken to hospital for treatment and assessment."
Police appealed for anyone with any information to contact them.
