Flybe pilots take a pay cut to avoid redundancies

Pilots for Exeter-based airline Flybe have accepted a 5% pay cut to avoid compulsory redundancies, managers and a union say.
Flybe had planned to make about 50 pilots redundant across the UK.
The British Airline Pilots Association said 74% of its members voted to accept the cut to ensure no pilot was forced out of a job.
Flybe confirmed it was finalising the agreement, which would then be signed.
