Broadwindsor pub saved by 拢30,000 village crowdfunding

A village pub is set to reopen after residents raised more than 拢30,000 through crowdfunding.
The White Lion, the last remaining pub in Broadwindsor, Dorset, shut in May last year after the landlords moved on.
Residents formed a not-for-profit company and raised the cash needed in less than two weeks to take on the tenancy and fund refurbishment work.
The pub, which will be run by the community, hopes to reopen by Easter.
In a statement, the Save the White Lion campaign group said: "It's fantastic news - a real testament to the power of a close-knit, caring community in which good things happen."
Ken Bodycombe, from the group, added: "We are looking for someone to run the pub and hopefully a chef as well.
"Now we've got to work hard to make sure people keep using it."
