M25 Essex closure causes long delays after lorry fire
Motorists are facing long delays on the M25 in Essex as a lorry fire has re-ignited twice.
The lorry containing pallets of wood caught fire between junctions 27 and 28 clockwise at 04:42 BST.
Highways England said the fire service had extinguished the blaze on two occasions, and on both occasions it re-ignited, most recently at 13:45.
The queue of congestion extends to junction 26 and delays of at least 90 minutes are expected.
Drivers are being told they may wish to use alternative routes or delay their journeys.
Essex Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the lorry fire was accidental.
