Queen Camilla has arrived at Cheltenham Racecourse for the second day of the Cheltenham Festival.

Wearing a green coat, hat and black leather gloves, she was pictured walking through the grounds on Style Wednesday.

Joined by her children, she took her place in the royal box.

The Jockey Club, which runs the festival, renamed "Ladies Day" as Style Wednesday this year to make the day more inclusive.

People were also encouraged to wear sustainable fashion.

Around 250,000 people attend the four-day festival in Gloucestershire.

The Queen wore an Anna Valentine ensemble - brown suede skirt, matching leopard print shirt and a dark green cashmere coat, with a wide brimmed Lock & Co hat.

The Princess Royal and Zara Tindall, the granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II, were also pictured at the racecourse on Wednesday.

And Queen Camilla's son, Tom Parker Bowles, was also in attendance, as well as daughter Laura Lopes and her husband Harry.

Guests in the royal box included Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank, and Camilla's friend and official Queen's companion, Lady Sarah Keswick.

The first race on Wednesday took place at 13:30 GMT, known as Gallaghers Novices' Hurdle and is a grade one jump race.

The Cross Country Chase event was called off and will not be rescheduled after parts of the track were waterlogged.

There are usually 28 races at the festival - seven per day - and the most valuable race is the Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup held on Friday.

It has a total value of 拢625,000 - only the Randox Grand National at Aintree is worth more in British jump racing.
