Dangerous driving arrest after man's death on Hereford road

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after the death of a pedestrian.
A man, 55, was found with serious injuries on Holme Lacy Road, Hereford, at about 01:00 BST on Sunday, West Mercia Police said.
Paramedics gave him emergency treatment but he died at the scene.
A 57-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a collision and failing to report a collision
He remained in custody, the force said.
Witnesses who may have seen the pedestrian or were near Rotherwas Industrial Estate towards Holme Lacy Road were urged to contact detectives.
