Man who died after Hull pub attack named by police
A man who died after being attacked outside a pub in Hull has been named by police.
Scott Akester, 31, was set upon outside the Grandale pub in the Sutton Park area of the city in the early hours of Saturday.
He suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital but later died.
An investigation was launched and a 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
A 33-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman are being held on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Det Ch Insp Lee Gallagher said there would be an increased police presence in and around the area.
He added: "Our thoughts are with Scott's family at this very difficult time and I can assure them that we will do everything we can to bring those responsible to justice.
"I would like to reassure the community that there is no wider risk to the public from this incident."
