North East Lincolnshire road to close overnight for resurfacing work

Drivers have been warned of overnight closures for roadworks to take place on a route in North East Lincolnshire.

Cheapside will be shut between The Drive in Waltham and the A16 for resurfacing from Monday to 18 October from 19:00 BST to 06:00 each night.

Parking on the street will also be suspended during the works, according to North East Lincolnshire Council.

The authority warned that further closures would be needed if vehicles were left parked on the road.

A diversion route will be put in place, the council said.
