Grimsby: Family of dentist Ian Burrell killed in crash pay tribute
Tributes have been paid to an 81-year-old man who was killed in a car crash on Saturday afternoon.
Ian Burrell died in hospital after his car collided with another vehicle on Bargate in Grimsby.
His family said he was a "respected dental surgeon in the town". He died at the wheel "after a suspected medical episode", they said.
"We wish to thank everyone who came to the aid of Ian and tried to assist him at the scene," the family added.
"We are sure many people in Grimsby will remember him for the care that he gave them over the years."
Humberside Police has renewed its appeal for witnesses and any dashcam and CCTV footage of the incident.
