Blackburn stabbing victim identified by police
A 29-year-old man who died after being stabbed has been named.
Tarro Grogan died at the scene in Peridot Close, Blackburn, shortly after 10:00 BST, Lancashire Police said.
Officers were called by the ambulance service who were treating him for a stab wound at the close opposite Roe Lee Park.
Three men, aged 26, 28 and 29, and a 39-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are in custody. Enquiries are ongoing, police said.
Det Ch Insp Gareth Willis said the force has launched a major investigation and appealed for information.
"In particular I would like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the Peridot Close area in the hours before the ambulance was called at about 10:00 today or in the immediate aftermath," he said.
Emerald Street has been closed both ways between Brownhill Drive and Whalley New Road.
