Two murder arrests after Burnley woman dies in 'targeted attack'
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a house in Burnley.
Leanne Unsworth, 40, was found at a property in Marlborough Street, Burnley, at about 19:15 GMT on Monday.
Police said they believed she was the victim of a "targeted attack" and a post-mortem examination was due to be held later.
The two suspects, aged 38 and 39 and from Burnley, were arrested in Wythenshawe, Manchester.
Det Ch Insp Zoe Russo, of Lancashire Police, said: "I would like to reassure people that we believe Leanne's killer was known to her and there is nothing to suggest that there is a wider threat to the public.
"My advice to people is to carry on with their daily business as usual."
