Knott End: Driver held after motorcyclist injured in crash
A motorcyclist in his 70s has been seriously injured in a crash, police have said.
He was riding a Yamaha when he was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall in Lancaster Road, Knott End, at 17:50 BST on Wednesday, Lancashire Police said.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
A 38-year-old man from Blackpool was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving.
He was also detained for driving without a licence and remains in custody.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
