Five injured after suspected drink-drive crash in Blackpool
Four teenagers and a woman have been seriously hurt after the car they were in hit a wall on Christmas Day, police have said.
Three boys, aged 13, 15 and 17, were among those taken to hospital after a Mercedes CLA 220 crashed in Common Edge Road, Blackpool at about 22:30 GMT.
A girl, 17, and a woman in her 30s were also hurt. Lancashire Police said their injuries were not life-threatening.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol.
The 42-year-old, who is from St Annes, was also detained for failing to provide a specimen for analysis and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He remains in police custody.
Officers appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
