Murder arrest after man dies in Colne stabbing, police say
A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died in a stabbing.
Richard Chamberlain, 34, was found with several injuries at a property in New Market Street, Colne, just before 14:30 BST on Sunday, detectives said.
Lancashire Police said he "died a short time later". A post-mortem examination is due to take place.
The force added that his family were being supported by specialist officers.
Det Ch Insp Jill Riley said: "First and foremost my thoughts are with Richard's loved ones at this difficult time.
"We have a dedicated team of investigators conducting inquiries to get justice for Richard."
Police have appealed for witnesses and any dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage.
