Man dies after falling into River Aire in Leeds city centre
A man has died after falling into the River Aire in Leeds.
Marcus Castle, 29, was pulled from the water near Armouries Way on Monday night. He died in the hospital the next day, West Yorkshire Police said.
His mother, Katrina, who launched a fundraising appeal to pay for his funeral, said she was heartbroken and described her son as a "beautiful boy".
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner, the force added.
