Honley: Boy, 11, hit by car outside high school
An 11-year-old boy has been injured after he was hit by a car outside a secondary school in West Yorkshire.
Emergency services were called to Honley High School, with the road closed off as pupils arrived.
It is understood that an air ambulance was also called to the scene and landed in the school grounds.
West Yorkshire Police said the boy was taken to hospital with "slight injuries" after the collision in Honley, Holmfirth at about 08:20 GMT.
A police spokesperson said they could not confirm if the boy was a pupil at the school.
