Coalville: Charge over serious assault which left man with brain injury

A man has been charged over a serious assault which left a victim with a brain injury in a Leicestershire town.
The attack happened in Needhams Walk, Coalville, on Sunday 28 January.
It left a man with a fractured skull and bleed on the brain, Leicestershire Police said.
The suspect, 29, from Ashby, has been charged with grievous bodily harm and appeared at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Monday, when he was remanded into custody.
He is due at Leicester Crown Court for another hearing on Monday 25 March.
Two women, 35 and 40, who were arrested in connection with the attack, have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
