Leicestershire: Horse killed in crash with car on A426

A horse died when it was hit by a car in Leicestershire.
Police were called to the A426 Lutterworth Road, just after 18:45 GMT on Sunday. Crews from Lutterworth and Southern stations subsequently attended the scene.
No arrests have been made and the driver of the car did not suffer any injuries, Leicestershire Police said.
The animal was reported as being on the loose before it was hit, the force added.
