A 16-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Leicester.
Leicestershire Police was called to Sawley Street, in the Evington area, shortly after 21:30 GMT on Wednesday.
Police believe the boy had been involved in an altercation with a group of youths, near to the junction with Evington Road.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening and he remains in hospital, the force says.
Officers are asking for anyone with information to come forward, including residents in the area or drivers with dashcam footage.
A cordon was put in place and the force said officers would remain in the area overnight "providing reassurance patrols".
