A driver is in hospital with serious injuries after a two-car crash on the A52 in Leicestershire.
Police said the crash - involving a white Mercedes SLK and white Honda Jazz - occurred on the A52 Grantham Road, at its junction with Belvoir Road.
The driver of the Jazz, which was travelling along Belvoir Road, was seriously hurt, police added.
The driver of the Mercedes - which was travelling towards Grantham in Lincolnshire - suffered minor injuries.
A passenger in the same vehicle was uninjured in the crash, which happened at about 10:20 BST on Monday in Bottesford, Leicestershire Police said.
The crash closed the A52 from the A46 at Saxondale to the A1 in Grantham - roughly 13 miles - but at about 16:00, National Highways the road had reopened.
Police said that while a number of drivers did stop after the crash, officers were still keen to speak to anyone else who might have witnessed it.
