Leicester: Two teens arrested after boy, 15, stabbed near bus station

Two people have been arrested after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in Leicester city centre.

Police said officers were called to Charles Street at about 22:00 BST on Saturday and found the victim, who was taken to hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, a spokesperson said.

Two boys aged 16 and 15 were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Both remain in custody while an investigation continues.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with video footage to come forward.
